Chapter 13 I want to cook for you (1)

After entering the living room, Lu Yu’an took off her mask and looked up at the man beside her.

“Should I cook tonight?”  The girl asked with a smile.

Jian Yihan’s asked amused “You know how to cook?”

“A little bit.”

In fact, In order to please Li Huanchen, the past her signed up for a cooking class. A TV program once said the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

“No, your hands are too pretty for cooking, let the chefs do it.” Lu Yuan was moved when she heard this but persistently albeit shyly said “Uh … but for you, I will”

“An An, you don’t have to …”

“You can wait here. It’ll be just a moment, do you eat noodles?” Lu Yu’an settled him on the sofa by the living room.

The man stared at Lu Yu’an for three seconds and nodded “… Hmm.”

“You don’t have to prepare dinner. I’ll cook for tonight” Lu Yuan proclaimed.

“Yes, Miss Lu.” One of the servants doubtfully answered.

Next, Lu Yuan asked the servant to take out what she would need.

She turned on the stove. Pan fry two eggs. Brought a large pot of water to boil, added the noodles for two people. Continuously stir. When suitably cooked, drained under running cold water.
The whole process looks very natural and unhurried.

In fact, she was making up for her past mistakes. The last time she had cooked for him, she had unknowingly poisoned him.

When she was done, she let the servant carry it over to the table and dismissed them while she fetched Jian Yihan personally.

Lu Yuan ushered Jian Yihan to the dining table, “Come, the noodles are ready, try it.” Jian Yihan, upon seeing two bowl of noodles felt pensive.

    “Of course I’m a good cook…”

Jian Yihan looked at the girl contentedly after eating. Seeing her hair bothering her from eating, his hand approached and tucked her hair behind her ears. “Eat slowly”

Lu Yuan bashfully arranged her hair to fall at her back, looked away and pretended not to notice him.

Jian Yihan smiled, “Hmmm”

“Do you like it? I like to cook it for you again.”

Yi Han grabbed the girl’s hand and said “An An, such a tender hand, I will be distressed if it gets burned from cooking”

Lu Yu’an was moved again, he was so good to her!

Suddenly, a person approached the couple.

“JIan … Yihan?” Yan Qingshan said in surprise.

He was shocked when he saw Lu Yu’an together with Jian Yihan. Why are they together? What does she want to do?

Jian Yihan looked at the direction of the voice, smiled and nodded, “Qingshan.”

Yan Qingshan. He is a private doctor employed by Jian Yihan. Aside from having superb medical skills he also majored in psychology.

With his ability, the poisoned Jian Yihan got from the previous life is merely child’s play.

Note: The dish Lu Yu’an cooked is a bowl of longevity noodles for  wishing a long life and are served during a birthday, new baby, wedding or lunar new year banquets. The use of noodles here signifies wishes for long life and a celebration of birth, in this case her rebirth.
