Su Jinzhi lost consciousness from the unrelenting pain in his chest and woken up from another indescribable pain.

He felt like his lungs were burning up from the pain and were going to explode. Furthermore, his feet were bare, stepping directly onto the disordered dead branches and uneven gravelly ground. His right hand was desperately holding on to a man’s hand, who was pulling him along as fast as he could.

The emotions from the last world before he died were still affecting him, and coupled with the physical pain, Su Jinzhi blinked his eyes and tears fell as he sniffed his nose. Then he saw the man who was dragging him to run suddenly turned his head and looked at him anxiously, “Jinzhi!”

Qin Yezhou?!

Su Jinzhi was stunned the moment he saw his face, he subconsciously looked down at the man’s leg and quickly realized when he found him standing steadily on the ground. He was now in another world, and this man was by no means Qin Yezhou, but rather his new rescue target.

The tender-faced version of Qin Yezhou halted his footsteps and supported Su Jinzhi with his hands, “Jinzhi, are you still able to run?”

But right now, Su Jinzhi didn’t say a word, he felt that whether he could breathe or not was already a big problem.

“I’m not blind!”

“You don’t have to run.” Number One gave him the heads up, “Those people won’t kill you, but not necessarily so for Jiang Lishan.”

Su Jinzhi asked, “Jiang Lishan?”

Number One told him, “He is your overall rescue target of this world.”

Su Jinzhi was gasping for air, there was no time to compile the information Number One sent him about this world. But he thought that since those people wouldn’t kill him, then he would let Jiang Lishan escape first.

“Jiang, Jiang Lishan …” Su Jinzhi gasped for breath, raising a hand to grab the man by the hem of his clothes, “They won’t do anything to me, but if you take me with you, there’s no way to leave this place…”

“Jinzhi…”  Jiang Lishan frowned tightly, and his face, which was seven or eight points similar to Qin Yezhou’s face was filled with grief, calling out to Su Jinzhi, somewhat at a loss for words.

Su Jinzhi leaned against a tree trunk to stabilize his breath.  A few minutes after, the group of people who were chasing after them was caught up, Su Jinzhi looked up and only saw a shadow flashed before his eyes.

“Pa!” A sound was heard as a man delivered a ruthless slap on his cheek. 

“Fuck, I’ll let you guys run!” It wasn’t enough for the man to slap him, he grabbed his(SJZ) hair and kicked him down to the ground, then another kick was toward his abdomen.

Su Jinzhi screamed miserably then he tightly curled up his body, only to feel as if his internal organs were being stirred and cut apart by a blunt knife, scarlet sweet blood lingered in the back of his throat, and some of it spilled over on the corner of his lips. Compared to that slapped just now, that was nothing.

“Enough! Don’t you hit him again!” Another person rushed over to stop the person who was beating Su Jinzhi.

“The slut bit off Lao San’s^[1] finger!”

“Then you also should not hit his face ah! You can’t sell him if his face is ruined?! Let’s tie him up and go back first, and discuss it later……”

Su Jinzhi was paralyzed on the ground, his eyes were pitch black. Cold sweats formed all over his forehead and palms, body wrecked with spasms of pain, and it seemed like this body was very weak. Even though Su Jinzhi bit his tongue in his attempt to clear his mind, his mind still gradually grew dizzy and finally plunged into bottomless darkness.
