The Elopement of the Princess and the Lady Knight - 10
The Seventh Prince and the Princess got married.
The pressure from the neighboring country was overwhelming, and if the marriage was broken, a war would have broken out.
To the confusion of the observers, the Princess was quite willing to marry after being freed from the Wicked Witch. The reason was clear to the Lady Knight: she had realized the importance of her position because of their elopement.
The Princess and the Lady Knight were still having secret parties today at the Flower Garden, formerly the room of the First Queen. After her arrest, most of her possessions were inherited by the Princess.
“It seems that you haven’t seen the Prince much since the wedding,” the Lady Knight says.
The Princess pouts in return. “If you’re talking about that child, he’s calling your squire to his room daily.”
It’s not the Lady Knight’s business but there was a rumor among the castle servants that the Seventh Prince was already having an affair at his age.
The Lady Knight spat out the tea she was drinking. That she was composed afterward was the result of her daily training.
“Oh, is that so?” she said. “I’ll be strict with my Troublesome Squire anyway.”
“I’d rather not say anything, because it gives me time to be with you,” the Princess said. “For me, I’m happiest when I’m with you.”
The Princess heads to a brand new white bench and lets the Lady Knight sit first.
Then, she lays on her back and brings her knees onto the bench.
The sky is a lovely blue today. The world around them seems to be of no concern to the Princess.
The world outside them is abuzz.
The Princess’s half-cousin is enthusiastically plotting to seize the throne and the Former Queen Consort is plotting a revolution by writing letters to various places from the dungeon.
Although the Black Witches decided to force the Wicked Witch to retire during a general shareholder’s meeting, the Wicked Witch remained as Honorary Chairman and assumed a new identity, the “White Witch.”
In the future, the stalls that sold those tasty skewers would sell fast-food and dominate the food industry and two real fairies would awaken at Lake Eldrea. The northern countries would soon be conquered by the Demon King and in the neighboring country the Seventh Prince called home, a bloody battle royale for the throne would break out. If you bothered to count, there were so many various situations developing.
The problems are endless but that’s for another story.
This is a Flower Garden.
The Princess forgets about the world and sleeps peacefully on the Lady Knight’s lap pillow.
The Lady Knight cooed and gently stroked her smiling, sleeping face.
