In the end, Chu Yunge still didn’t take the final step with Ling Chunan. 

Ling Chunan was disappointed, “Why was that man like that?” 

098: consoled him: “Host, this person’s views are quite conservative. He should be a good person to date and become your boyfriend.” 

“098, why do I feel like you’re gloating?”

Every time they saw this kind of situation, the ladies of the crew would hope that they would be the one to do those tasks. Why weren’t they the ones being ordered to do it?! 

But what was the relationship of that foreign-looking handsome guy with A-nan? It looked as if they were in love. 

After finishing a scene, Ling Chunan looked at the bright eyes of the man at the edge of the set and smiled. He then saw him elatedly stride over with a cup of water. He looked more like a lackey, than any lackey could ever look.

The people who were blinded by the dazzling sight: “…..” 

The few people who knew that Chu Yunge was a bigshot in the production: “….” 

Fortunately, after half a month, Chu Yunge had an important matter to settle and went abroad. The people on set were finally relieved. 

Originally, they already had Ling Chunan. Then, adding a new guy with the same level of handsomeness, it really affected the efficiency of work done. 

The day after Chu Yunge left, Ling Chunan received a call from Lin Tianhao. 

“Hello?” 

“Hello, is this Mr. Ling? I’m Lin Tianhao.” The male lead’s voice came from the other end of the phone, “I don’t know if you still remember but you bumped into my car half a month ago.” 

“Of course, I remember. Greetings, Mr. Lin” Ling Chunan’s lips were curved into a smile, “Has your car has been repaired? Please send me the costs and your account number and I’ll call you back.” 

“It has already been repaired. You don’t need to shoulder the costs.” The voice on the other end seemed a bit gentler. “I wonder if I’d have the pleasure of inviting Mr. Ling for a meal?”

Ling Chunan tried to refuse, but under the male lead’s exuberance, he half-heartedly agreed to the invitation.

When Ling Chunan arrived at the restaurant, the male lead was already there. Both of them were dressed very formally. “Like they were going to have a business meeting.” Ling Chunan commented. 

098 had to agree. 

The two serious men talked for a while and politely ate their meals. Eventually, the atmosphere between them relaxed.  

“The male lead has slept with so many people but looks like it was all in vain.” While Ling Chunan was finding topics to converse with the male lead, he was simultaneously speaking to 098, “Incredibly flirtatious but severely lacking on the basics.”

Zhang Chulin was completely unfavored in his family. How could a dandy who was despised by others, have any business to discuss with Lin Tianhao? Hearing Lin Tianhao’s words, Zhang Chulin’s complexion was pale and green. His eyes were like knives stabbing towards Lin Tianhao. He hmphed and was about to turn around when he saw the seated Ling Chunan. His eyes instantly shined, “Speaking of, I was wondering why the great President Lin thought of eating here. It turns out he has a date with a stunning beauty.” 

The stunning beauty Ling Chunan who heard what he said, raised his head and hooked his lips up showing a smile. 

The young man, who had been raging just now, reddened from his forehead all the way down to his neck. 

“I- I’ll be off first. I’ll deal with you next time. Hmph.”  

“Pfft.” Ling Chunan suddenly chuckled and said to 098 in his mind: “This person is really interesting.” 

098: “Quite interesting.” 

“I’m sorry for disrupting the mood.” Lin Tianhao smiled apologetically at Ling Chunan and helped him add some tea leaves into his cup. 

Ling Chunan’s conclusion on his first formal meeting with Lin Tianhao was, “This man is so boring. How on earth did he chase the female protagonist?” 

098: “This kind of luck, we call it the protagonist halo. Everything is by coincidence.” 

However, it may be that Ling Chunan’s very friendly attitude made the male lead misunderstand something. Three days after they met, he surprisingly went on a visit to the filming set.

098 who thought that it would hear other’s criticizing Ling Chunan about his philandering but looked on helplessly as they argued over who Ling Chunan belonged to: “….”

After meeting Ling Chunan back then, Lin Tianhao went back and thought for a full two days and ultimately determined that he, who had never been smitten by a man before, was truly smitten by Ling Chunan.

Ling Chunan was slightly taken aback that the female protagonist who had always looked like a successful career woman would unexpectedly say the three syllables of ‘psychopath’. He soon smiled and nodded, “I see. Thank you.” 

After taking another glance at Ling Chunan and seeing that he was sincere, Yang Qingya smiled at him, “He is not a good man. When A-nan sees him in the future, he should hide far away.”

According to the counterattack value distribution calculated by Ling Chunan, the female protagonist and the male lead together accounted for 35% with the progress already filled up, 10% to the male lead’s company with no progress started yet, 10% to the supporting male lead with also no progress started yet and 45% to the agent who had the biggest portion with 10% progress. 

Ling Chunan planned to leave the agent for last. The next step would be the male lead and the supporting male lead’s companies.  

Although it seemed that his disfigurement was orchestrated by the supporting male lead alone, Ling Chunan knew that the male lead had purposely leaked out information. Otherwise, how could the supporting male lead appear with a bottle of sulfuric acid at his celebration. 

Many things done in his previous life actually had the shadow of the male lead. Ling Chunan felt that it was actually still generous to leave him with nothing at all. 

Therefore, he deliberately hooked up with him.

So, the following days, Ling Chunan did not completely reject Ling Tianhao’s advances.
