Face slapping the Entertainment Circle Bigshot (25)
While their lips were in the midst of a battle, Chen Heng used his teeth to delicately gnaw the youth’s lips. He took advantage of the youth relaxing his mouth to plunge his tongue and explore. Su Jue’s fingers that were grasping his sides faintly clenched. He wanted to endure the passion surging forth within his body but this was the first time the man had ever taken an initiative to such a thing. He was a little overwhelmed by his tongue and couldn’t help but tighten his arms around the man’s waist. From being passive to actively taking over, he enthusiastically explored the man’s mouth.
Just like teasing a pet, Chen Heng made sure that Su Jue still desired him, grabbing Su Jue’s hair with his fingers and tugging it hard.
A trace of discontent flashed in his eyes and the youth bit his lip. His eyes were clouded and his lower half sported a small tent. Chen Heng felt the change in the other’s body and gave a satisfied smile. With his forehead stuck against the youth’s, his deep dark eyes also tightly locked on to Su Jue’s.
“It’s been half a month, did you miss me?”
The youth pursed his lips and reached out to cusp Chen Heng’s face to stick his lips on him once again. “Miss.” Miss enough to rip his clothes off and directly do him right here. More than ten days’ worth of longing all festered into deep seated desire. Su Jue flipped Chen Heng over in his arms, pushed him against the wall, roughed him up and kissed him heavily.
Both of his hands weren’t idle, they skillfully tore open Chen Heng’s clothes, bursting several buttons along the way that made a ‘ding’ sound as it rolled on the floor. Chen Heng raised his neck slightly, a faint smile shining in his eyes as he gazed at the youth’s passionate appearance. His hands gently caressed his hair as if to pacify him.
There was a numb tingling touch on his neck. Chen Heng relaxed his body, allowing the other to lick his skin. His fingertips touched the youth’s small thin earlobes and gave it a slightly intimate pinch. His voice brimmed with a provocative magnetic tone, “Don’t you have something to say to me?”
As soon as he heard it, Su Jue couldn’t help but slightly stiffen. Chen Heng’s eyes darkened, the strength in his hands increasing a little as if he was going to rip off the youth’s earlobes.
Su Jue appeared like he couldn’t feel the pain and hung his eyes. His delicate long eyelashes covered his eyes, leaving a faint shadow on his eyelids.
“Chen Mu, I want to sign with Xingyao.”
Even though he had already prepared himself, Chen Heng was still taken aback when he heard Su Jue voice this out. He was silent for several seconds before he pushed the youth away. He tugged at his torn shirt and glanced at the garlic fried meat on the pan, “The food is getting cold.”
The youth went to get plates to serve the food in, while Chen Heng served up the rice in silence. After setting up the food on the table, the two ate quietly in front of each other.
After the meal, Su Jue moved to clean up the dishes but Chen Heng stopped him, “Tell me, why have you decided to do that?”
Glancing at the hand that fell on his shoulder, the youth hesitantly placed his hand on top, just enough to cover the back of Chen Heng’s hand, “I’ve been in the industry for three years and my career had already reached the peak of what I’m currently capable of. Meng Changfeng said he can help me develop into the overseas market and let me advance internationally.”
Out of the corner of his eyes, he peeked at the man’s deep bottomless eyes. Su Jue quickly blinked and averted his eyes, “Will you support me on this?”
Chen Heng took his hand back. The gentleness faded away from his face and there was a sharp chill emanating from his gaze. He slowly spoke, “I went to the airport to pick you up.”
He saw the youth’s body trembling, but Chen Heng continued to narrate in an assertive tone, “I saw you walk out with Meng Changfeng.”
Su Jue tightly pursed his lips and bowed his head Su Jue, Chen Heng continued to voice out his conjectures, “You went to F country to shoot a commercial for half a month. In that half a month, has Meng Changfeng always been with you?” Since the three years he had spent hadn’t stopped Su Jue from getting in touch with Meng Changfeng, Chen Heng wasn’t going to waste any more time on Su Jue.
With only four years left until the car accident, Chen Heng didn’t have the time to play emotional games with him.
Thus, he went straight to the point, “Do you like him?”
Su Jue shook his head, “The person I like is you.”
Chen Heng didn’t believe his confession, “I’ll only give you two choices. Xingyao or me. Choose one.” He wasn’t stupid. Once Su Jue signed into Xingyao entertainment, his contact with Meng Changfeng would definitely become more frequent. Additionally, Su Jue went as far as to hide the fact that he went abroad with Meng Changfeng from him. Clearly, he wasn’t completely unmoved by Meng Changfeng.
Faced with this dilemma for the first time, Su Jue remained silent for a long time.
Chen Heng was very patient. Having already reached this point, he wasn’t the least bit nervous on the choice Su Jue would pick. If Su Jue still chose Meng Changfeng, then he could only take the most troublesome method and try his best to have Su Jue and Meng Changfeng fall in love and stay sweet and loving until their hairs turned white.
Su Jue basically was not making trouble out of nothing. It was precisely because Meng Changfeng was faced with slightly more temptations that he couldn’t stay faithful until the end. The best way to snuff out the butterflies and bees lingering around Meng Changfeng was to leave him with absolutely nothing. As long as Meng Changfeng became destitute and needed to depend on Su Jue to support himself, Chen Heng didn’t believe that he would still be able to stray.
After going over his next plan once more, Chen Heng felt a little more at ease. He raised an eyebrow and glanced at the quiet youth. He spoke in a gentle voice, “I really like you very much. I don’t want you to leave me.”
Ultimately, Su Jue had made his choice.
Chen Heng showed obvious disappointment, took a stepped back and laughed miserably, “I understand.” With that, he turned and left the dining room.
The youth who remained seated in place silently stared at the dishes on the table. His index finger that had been tightly clenched loosened. A bead of blood trickled along his fingers and noiselessly dropped down the ground. He stiffly turned his body, unfocused eyes gazing distantly at the bedroom.
Sorry. This was the only way he could protect him.
Hearing the sound of the bedroom door opening, Chen Heng opened his eyes in the darkness.
The sound of footsteps slowly came nearer and finally stopped by the bedside. In the darkness, Chen Heng’s eyes accurately locked unto Su Jue’s. They gazed at each other. The night blurred away their features until only the two pairs of deep clear eyes that seemed to chase the boundless night away, remained.
Chen Heng blinked, “When are you leaving?” He had expected the youth to leave with his luggage tonight.
There was a sigh in the air. Su Jue lifted the blanket and went in, extending his arm to block the man’s waist.
Faintly glancing sideways, his sight was drawn on to the youth’s eyes were his long lashes sat atop resembling butterfly wings. Underneath those long lashes, those pair of dark luminous eyes calmly bore into him. Chen Heng averted his eyes and curtly said, “Sleep early.”
Su Jue didn’t reply. He shifted his body to nestle against the man’s chest. He closed his eyes, deeply imprinting the man’s familiar scent.
Chen Heng quietly looked at him.
“I love you.”
The confession was full of deep-seated affections, but in Chen Heng’s ears, he felt that it was horribly ironic. He was telling him he liked him while also being ambiguous with Meng Changfeng. This kind of cheap love truly made one feel disgusted. In that train of thought, Chen Heng composedly pinched Su Jue’s cheeks and softly advised, “Later when you go to Xingyao, you should learn to protect yourself. The competition between artists are quite fierce. I can’t be by your side to protect you anymore.”
He had previously been the one who created resources for Su Jue so it should only be natural that those directors and actors would hold him in high regards. Now when Su Jue goes to Xingyao Entertainment, the resources would certainly be better but so would the competition. He didn’t know whether or not Meng Changfeng would help Su Jue out all the time.
Su Jue buried his face in the man’s chest, feeling the vivid beats of his heart under the supple skin, “Chen Mu, I don’t want to leave you.”
“Even the happiest of parties must part in the end.”
Gently caressing Su Jue’s hair, Chen Heng’s gaze moved towards the window and at the shimmering stars on the night sky, “I hope you will soar higher.”
That night, the two embraced each other to sleep. Su Jue was like a timid child, continuously shrinking into Chen Heng’s embrace.
The next day.
Chen Heng prepared Su Jue’s last breakfast with him.
Su Jue ate in silence, face despondent. From time to time, he would sneak furtive glances at Chen Heng, who was sitting across him. In comparison to his pale complexion, Chen Heng looked serene and florid. He didn’t look one bit sad at the upcoming separation.
Sometimes, Su Jue also wondered whether the man really liked him. It was clear that he was the one who proposed to leave but it seemed like he was the only one hurt from it.
After breakfast, Chen Heng helped Su Jue packed his luggage. In any case, Meng Changfeng will definitely help Su Jue purchase new clothes, so Chen Heng hastily packed several clothes that the youth often wore. And against his expectations, Su Jue actually packed some useless things such as photos, greeting cards, stamps and what not.
Chen Heng swept a glance at the photo of him and Su Jue, “Aren’t you afraid that Meng Changfeng will see it?”
“This is the only photo I have with you. I’m keeping it as a remembrance.”
Su Jue used his sleeves to wipe the non-existent dust off the frame like it was a precious treasure and very carefully placed it in his luggage.
Chen Heng couldn’t understand Su Jue anymore. It was obvious that he had gone to climb a higher branch but who was he making that longing and nostalgic expression for?
Just as that thought crossed his mind, the doorbell rang.
“I’ll get the door.” Chen Heng said to Su Jue. He went to open the door. Standing outside was none other than Meng Changfeng who had dug his corner.
“Who is it?”
The youth’s voice came from behind them. After looking past Chen Heng’s shoulder and seeing the person standing outside the door, Su Jue’s face immediately dropped and gritted ruthlessly, “Didn’t I tell you not to come?”
Hearing the impatience in Su Jue’s tone, Meng Changfeng’s face stiffened and he spoke in a tone that wasn’t good, “I was afraid you’d go back on your word.”
“Heh. Since I already agreed, how can I go back on my word?”
Su Jue’s face turned cold. He walked back inside, zipped up his suitcase and dragged it to the door.
Chen Heng blocked the doorway and didn’t let Meng Changfeng in. Seeing Su Jue coming over, he slightly moved to the side to make way for him. Waiting until Su Jue stood side by side to Meng Changfeng outside the door, Chen Heng tugged the corners of his mouth, “Su Jue, goodbye.”
The youth didn’t reply. He looked at Chen Heng, threw down his suitcase and took three steps forward to pull Chen Heng into a hug.
Chen Heng was stunned. The next moment, he heard Su Jue whisper in his ear, “Wait for me.” These three words were said very softly that Chen Heng almost thought he was hallucinating.
Seeing Su Jue embrace Chen Heng, Meng Changfeng’s expression was so unpleasant that it seemed as if ink had been splashed onto the bottom of a pot, “Let’s go.” Saying that, he personally helped Su Jue lift his suitcase.
Finally, after one last glance at Chen Heng, Su Jue didn’t look back anymore and proceeded to straighten his back and walk ahead. His short hair, which was tousled by the wind, bouncing slightly as he soon disappeared around the corner. Meng Changfeng looked at Chen Heng and nodded at him, “Chief Chen, I’m leaving first.”
Chen Heng didn’t speak and directly slammed the door shut in his face.
Back in the living room, it was still decorated the same than what it had been before but with one less person, it felt different. Chen Heng sat on the sofa and turned on the TV. Bustling and lively laughter filled the room. He leaned back on the sofa and silently closed his eyes.
The plot was still developing according to the original script. What he had to do now was to quickly bring Meng Changfeng down. As long as Meng Changfeng is ruined, he would be able to rest easy.
As for what Su Jue said about waiting for him, he’s sorry but when the mission is completed, he wouldn’t stay in this world any longer.
