Face slapping the Entertainment Circle Bigshot (21)

After that night, the ice between the two was considered to be officially broken.

Su Jue moved back into Chen Heng’s villa and those messy scandals soon abated. He once again resumed his two-point-one-line[1] kind of life. Because Su Jue’s movie was doing its intensive preparation for the finale during this period, he had been unable to get away and go abroad with Chen Heng. The matter of obtaining a marriage certificate could only be temporarily suspended.

One time, Su Jue was tired and catching up on his sleep when his phone suddenly rang. Chen Heng answered the call for him afraid that he would be woken up by the noise.

The call was from Meng Changfeng.

Chen Heng went to the balcony. The sunlight directly shone on his face and he lazily squinted his eyes, “Are you looking for Su Jue? He’s so tired that he’s currently sleeping.”

‘Oh, is that so?” Meng Changfeng’s voice sounded a somewhat frosty. It wasn’t difficult to guess that his lips were tightly pursed into a thin line right now, in an unwelcoming attitude. Imagining the other party suppressing his anger, Chen Heng’s lips delightfully curved up. “I heard Su Jue talk about President Meng.”

“What did he say?”

Chen Heng casually said: “He said that President Meng was nice to him and that President Meng used XingYao Entertainment’s shares to invite him to join XingYao.” Su Jue didn’t say this much. He knew all these from his investigation.

Meng Changfeng on the other end was silent for a moment before he admitted: “I really want to cultivate Su Jue. He has quite a good aptitude. If he is willing to sign up for my company, I will definitely make him into an international superstar…”

Chen Heng interrupted him: “President Meng, I think there’s something I should tell you.” He waited until the other end of the phone was silent before he neither fast nor slowly said: “Su Jue joined the entertainment circle for me. The person he likes is me. I hope President Meng won’t pester him again.”

“….”

His words were straightforward and simple. Chen Heng didn’t care about what Meng Changfeng’s expression was at the moment and suddenly laughed: “Oh, that’s right. I still have a good news to tell you.”

“What’s the good news?”

“Su Jue and I will be getting married soon.”

Meng Changfeng heard this. His face morphed into an expression of disbelief. “Marriage? Two men?”

“Yes ah. Won’t President Meng congratulate us?”

After that, Chen Heng heard Meng Changfeng grit out a sentence from between his teeth, “Chen Mu, don’t get too cocky.”

    1. The phone was hung up.

Chen Heng smoothly added Meng Changfeng’s number to the blacklist and put Su Jue’s phone back in its original position.

When Su Jue woke up, Chen Heng immediately told him about the phone call with Meng Changfeng. The youth rubbed his eyes, “Block him, block him ba. He calls me every few days, it’s very annoying.”

As soon as Chen Heng heard his words, he was certain that Su Jue didn’t have any other thoughts on Meng Changfeng. His heart was truly relieved.

Sometime after that, Su Jue was busy promoting the film and incessantly followed after the production crew to many cities. Chen Heng, with nothing else to do, accompanied him by his side. They had high hopes for this commercial blockbuster which was expected to break the box office records. Once this movie succeeds, Su Jue’s status in the circle would also rise to higher lever.

Su Jue eemed to be very happy with Chen Heng closely accompanying him. During the day, their relationship in front of everyone was that of an agent and an artist, but when they returned to the hotel, Su Jue would be itching to wrap his arms around Chen Heng and sink his teeth into him. Their sexual life was extremely disharmonious. One was as passionate as fire while the other as indifferent as a block of wood. Each time Su Jue pressed down Chen Heng, he would move his hand up and down, yet once it met the man’s lower body, no matter how vigorous he was, the man’s desire was never aroused.

He buried his face in Chen Heng’s neck and kissed it while coaxing him: “Chen Mu, go to a hospital and see a doctor. You’re impairment can definitely be cured.”

“En.” He hummed in agreement.  Chen Heng’s impotency by no means could be ‘cured’. The way they were right now is pretty good. They didn’t need to have a sexual relationship. Su Jue could also rest easy.

Of course, Su Jue in the end, was still a young man with normal physiological needs so Chen Heng would sometimes ask him in a nervous tone: “If I never get better at all, what would you do?”

Hearing that, the youth’s eyebrows drooped. He pondered for a while before slowly saying: “Don’t worry, I won’t leave you.”

“En.”

“In any case, you can always use the back.”

“…”

***

He originally thought that when they finally have the marriage certificate, he would be finally able to rest easy, but trouble always came knocking at the door.

Chen Heng stared at the photo on the newspaper. Although it was blurred, he was still able to recognize at a glance that the subjects of the photo are him and Su Jue. He had to admit that the paparazzi were really good at shooting the photo. They captured him Su Jue also wanted to have a taste of it, so he directly kissed him.

At the moment, the other subject of the photo was holding him in an embrace as he slept. He didn’t know what kind of beautiful dream he was having but the corners of his mouth were curved into a warm and beautiful smile. Chen Geng reached out and poked his cheeks. The youth touched his face and hit his mouth but didn’t wake up. Chen Heng couldn’t help poking his cheeks again, this time with a little more force. Su Jue scrunched his brows and opened his eyes. His long lashes fluttered, “What’s the matter?”

Chen Heng handed him the newspaper and showed the photo right in front of his eyes.

“What do you think we should do?”

The youth rubbed his eyes and looked at the photo for a few seconds, “How come the photo they took made you look so old?”

“…”

Su Jue raised his head and kissed Chen Heng’s lips, “How about we take this chance to make our relationship public?”

Chen Heng flicked him on the forehead, “What are you thinking about? Your acting career is flourishing right now. You can’t have this kind of scandal.”

“How can this be a scandal?” The youth was unhappy as he rubbed his forehead, feeling aggrieved.

Chen Heng stroked his head: “Tomorrow is the last day of the movie’s publicity campaign. There will definitely be many reporters who will ask you about those photos. You can say it was just a joke. Besides, it’s pretty common for two men to kiss each other nowadays.”

“Oh.”

Su Jue reluctantly sighed. He then took the initiative to mention: “Afterwards, when I have my three-day break, let’s get our license okay?”

“We’d better wait first.” Chen Heng thought, “These days the paparazzi are watching you more closely.”

He didn’t say this as an excuse but solely for the sake of the youth’s career. Su Jue’s heart however was more perceptive and immediately asked him: “You won’t break your promise, would you?”

“Well, that’s how it is.” Chen Heng lowered his head and kissed the youth’s forehead.

Su Jue work ethics were usually good, and his fans also unconditionally trust him. The disturbance created by the photo was soon covered up by other celebrities’ scandal. As soon as the movie was released, the box office exploded. In just two days, the box office grossed over 100 million. As the main protagonist, Su Jue’s momentum was strong and for a period of time, took over the limelight.

People in the industry commented on Su Jue, bitterly saying that his talent was average, and it was all pure luck. He made his debut in a talent show, blew up as the second male lead in an idol drama then became the youngest film emperor through a literary drama and finally succeeded in acting on a commercial film to reap several billions in the box office. They unanimously believed that Su Jue’s whole journey was like a cheat. He had never experienced the so-called low-tide period of ordinary actors, completely walking the high road with no limits to his prospects.

The most important thing was that Su Jue didn’t have the support of a large company behind him, so he wasn’t unlucky to have made it this far.

Su Jue merely laughed it all off.

He was indeed very fortunate. Knowing Chen Mu was his greatest fortune. His talent really wasn’t good, so he had no choice but to work hard to make up for it. Fortunately, the man had always been supporting him from behind and had accompanied him up til this point.

In three years, from the age of 18 to 21, his career had reached its peak.

Chen Heng wasn’t idle. Using his superior hacking skills, he had hacked the system in Meng Changfeng’s company and found that the other apparently had dealings with a certain well-known bigshot arms dealer. He was aware of Meng Changfeng’s ambition and that he was absolutely dissatisfied with Meng Group’s current industries, but he didn’t think he would be so bold. He didn’t know whether he was too confident or too arrogant. Chen Heng wanted to continue investigating, yet it was clear that Meng Changfeng was more cautious than he imagined. Those useful data weren’t stored in the computers.

He thought for a moment and called Meng Tianyou.

After they arranged a time, Chen Heng went over to Meng Tianyou’s club.

T/N: Here’s Part two! Funny how Chen Heng resigned himself to Su Jue kekekeke
