A Very Very Small Extra
The mothers’ extra.
As they witnessed their sons’ sweet and oily lives full of candy becoming more and more blissful, the parents heaved a sigh of relief at long last.
Lady Vala patted her chest and said, “And here I thought that my son would never find a partner in this lifetime. We are truly too fortunate!”
Madam Jessie also took a sip of her coffee which had half a cup of milk poured in it, satisfied, “Their encounter is practically a miracle!”
Actually this was the last blind date that both pairs of parents had arranged.
Lady Vala had thought, ‘Since her son treated his interstellar warship models as his wife, then they’ll just comply with his will.’ On the other hand, Madam Jessie felt that it was not a big deal to buy a cabinet of dresses to raise their “daughter”.
Yet at the same time, they thought, ‘Ai, if only there was someone to accompany him.’
Fortunately, their wish was fulfilled. Thus, they can feel reassured.
They had met each other after their children began dating. The two of them frequently chatted together. If one were to say that they shared many interests and had a lot to say, that wasn’t necessarily the case. No matter how the conversation went, they would always land on the subject of their children.
Lady Vala actually was aware that her child couldn’t be considered “normal”. However, no matter what, she didn’t want to hurt him——Did he really not know his biological sex? No, he knew. It was just that he identified more with another kind of gender identity. Did he really not know that he didn’t fit in? He only built up firm walls around himself, not paying any mind to what other people said. As a parent, after a period of time where she did not understand and was enraged passed, she could only try to understand him. It’s fine, look, he’s so outstanding——how could she revile them like outsiders?
Ai, who let her love her own child like this?
Ai, who let this rascal have the ability to take responsibility for his own choices?
Compared to the peace between Lady Vala and her grappling contestant son that was maintained by not addressing the elephant in the room1, Madam Jessie and her little princess son had gotten into a major fight before.
The cause was because she discovered that her son had bought lipstick. She had thought that her son had a girl that he liked and this was a present for her. As such, she had secretly been happy for a period of time. Her son had been a brilliant child since young. His personality was also very good, soft and agreeable. He was very detail-oriented and considerate. What’s more, he had always been on good terms with the girls and omegas around him——she sincerely thought that her son was very popular among the opposite sex.
She honestly had not expected that they were all sisterhood relationships.
That lipstick…When she discovered that her son was actually trying to apply that lipstick on himself, it broke when it fell as the result of her terror and fury.
And then, the day before he got married, she gifted him one that was exactly the same. She didn’t apologize, but that youngster’s eyes reddened. He hugged her and thanked her.
Ai, who let her be so magnanimous?
Ai, who let this rascal be so good at acting coquettishly? She sincerely had no way of maintaining an angry expression.
The author has something to say:
This extra could be considered as an explanation.
To be honest, I can’t think of anything else to write for them (MC & ML)——if I say I want to write something, I can think of many cute ideas. But actually, I’ve already briefly mentioned many things in the story itself. Their story after this is very boring; it’s just like how other people live their days. That’s what I think. They’re no different than a normal couple, don’t you think?
